When you arrive at the Quattro Mori monument, located at the Medicean dock of the old Port of Livorno, you will be warmly greeted by the ever-charming Agostino, a captain, host, fisherman, and skilled chef, who will accompany you through a day filled with relax and fun.
From the stories and anecdotes of the fishermen, you’ll have the opportunity to glean the secrets of the seabed and the Livornese coast, learning about fishing techniques, distinguishing between different fish species, and understanding the deep connection between Livorno and its sea.
Aboard the “Iceberg I,” a modern 12-meter fishing vessel, you will set off on an unforgettable maritime adventure to the “Secche della Meloria”, one of the most fascinating marine protected areas in the Mediterranean, where you can enjoy a refreshing dive while exploring its wonderful seabed.
Onboard, you’ll also savor a delicious seafood lunch prepared by Agostino, featuring a welcome prosecco, appetizer, first course, main course, wine (one bottle for every four people), drinks, dessert, coffee, and digestif, during which you’ll be captivated by the fresh genuineness of the local culinary tradition.
